7-2 since 2014 and has never dropped a series to the Bobcats. The last time Texas State visited Gary Hogan Field in 2015, it left with a series loss as Little Rock took two out of three games. Last season, the Trojans dealt the Bobcats a three-game sweep in San Marcos.

  • A series win for Little Rock would give the Trojans their fourth consecutive series win over Texas State — something Little Rock has never done against a Sun Belt Conference opponent since joining the league in 1992.
  • A series sweep would be the second straight against Texas State. The last time Little Rock swept a particular Sun Belt opponent in back-to-back seasons was against ULM in 2010 and 2011.
  • Hunter Owens has the second-best batting average in the Sun Belt at .377 and has reached base safely in 11 consecutive games.
  • Owens has multiple hits in 13 games this season and is the only Trojan with 10 or more.
  • A win on Friday for Cory Malcom would give him 14 career wins — tying with Chance Cleveland and Brad Cherry for the fifth-most victories in program history.
  • Malcom hasn't allowed a home run in 74.2 innings dating back to last season.
  • At 9.7 at-bats between strikeouts, Bryce Dimitroff is the fifth-toughest player to strikeout in the Sun Belt and ranks 146th nationally.
  • Little Rock's fielding percentage of .977 ranks second in the Sun Belt and 40th nationally.
  • The Trojans' 53 doubles for the year rank second in the Sun Belt.
  • Little Rock is hitting .274 as a team this season — fifth in the Sun Belt.
  • The Trojans have tallied the fourth-most home runs in the conference this season with 23.
  • Trojan pitchers have the third-lowest opposing batting average in the Sun Belt at .249 and have allowed the third-fewest hits this season with 239.
  • Little Rock has allowed the fewest home runs among Sun Belt schools this season with 11.
