LITTLE R0CK – Little Rock women's basketball (12-8, 9-0 Sun Belt) will go for its 10th consecutive win when it plays host to Georgia Southern (4-16, 1-8 Sun Belt) on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center.

Little Rock will take part in the annual Coaches vs. Cancer initiative on Thursday as both the men's and women's coaches will swap their dress shoes for sneakers. More info on the event can be found

The Trojans will be heading back to the 1980s for Throwback Thursday as they wear retro uniforms based off those worn during the late 1980s.

Thursday will also be North Little Rock Night at the Jack as the Trojans celebrate the city of North Little Rock.

Rounding out Thursday's promotions will be Academic Recognition Night as the Trojans honor Little Rock student-athletes from all sports who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and those who tallied a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the fall 2017 semester.

Little Rock holds a 6-0 series lead since their first meeting in 2015. In games at the Jack Stephens Center, Little Rock is 3-0 against Georgia Southern. The Trojans last faced the Eagles on Jan. 6 in Statesboro and came away with a 30-point win to move to 4-0 in Sun Belt play. Little Rock held Georgia Southern to just 34 points — the lowest total by a Little Rock opponent this season.
Ronjanae DeGray led Little Rock with 16 points and eight rebounds. Last year at the Jack, Little Rock won 57-41 behind
Sharde' Collins' 24 points.

Georgia Southern claimed its first Sun Belt win of the year last Saturday against UT Arlington. The win snapped a 13-game losing streak for the Eagles and a nine-game Sun Belt losing streak dating back to last season. Georgia Southern is just 1-8 on the road this season.
