LITTLE ROCK – Three Trojans finished among the individual top-20, leading Little Rock to a fourth-place finish at the Little Rock Invitational at Chenal Country Club. The Trojans posted a 16-over 880, including a 7-over 295 over the final 18 holes at their host tournament.

The effort was led by junior
Danial Durisic, who finished in sole possession of ninth-place with a 1-over 217. Durisic, who shot a 69 in round two, finished even-par over the final 18 holes for his third career top-10 showing and first of the season. With his two rounds of par-or-better, Durisic upped his career total to 12, including three this season.

Logan Pate, who tied for 10th overall with a 2-over 218. Pate had the low round of the day for Little Rock with a 1-under 71, earning the second top-10 finish of his Little Rock career and upping his career par-or-better total to 15 rounds with his performance over the past two days. He also finished tied for the best scoring average on par-three scoring, finishing at 3-under for the tournament.
Sophomore
Aaron Ramos finished tied for 20th for Little Rock at 4-over 220 despite shooting a 6-over 78 over the final 18 holes. Ramos posted a 4-under 68 in round two for the Trojans, tied for his career low, as he has now logged four top-20 individual showings in his time in Little Rock.

Marcel Rauch finished tied for 46th with an 11-over 227, carding a 3-over 75 in round two and a 2-over 74 in round three. Senior
Justin Warren closed out the Little Rock scorecard with a 14-over 230, including a 2-over 74 in round two and a 7-over 79 over the final 18 holes.
A pair of individuals also made their mark for the Trojans, highlighted by freshman
Devon Whitaker posting a 7-over 223 in his first collegiate event. Whitaker was consistent for the Trojans, shooting 74-75-74 over the three rounds and tying for 35th overall. Sophomore
Tiago Lobo tied for 56th overall, posting three-straight rounds of 76 to finish at 12-over 228.
After sitting 12th in round one, Little Rock made a charge in round two, vaulting seven spots to fifth as the Trojans shot a 5-under 283 over the second 18 holes, tied for the lowest score of the round. Little Rock then moved up one more spot in round three, settling in at fourth overall with the 16-over 880.
Arkansas State and UNLV battled down the stretch for the team title with the Red Wolves pulling ahead late, finishing with a 1-under 863 and besting the Rebels (Even-par 864) by one stroke. Illinois State (1-over 865) finished third with Little Rock and ULM (20-over 884) rounding out the top-five. Little Rock finished second among the five Sun Belt schools competing in the event.
With the final event of the season in the books, Little Rock will now take a hiatus for the winter before returning to action in Tucson, Arizona in January. The Trojans will next compete at the Arizona Intercollegiate, being held at Sewailo Golf Club, January 28-29, 2019.
