LITTLE ROCK - Little Rock baseball will hold open tryouts for walk-on positions for the Trojan baseball team on Thursday, August 23 at Gary Hogan Field. The tryout session gets underway promptly at 1 p.m.
In order to participate in the tryout, players must be enrolled full-time at UA Little Rock and bring with them proof of a current physical as well as a hard copy of their fall 2018 class schedule. Participants should come in proper baseball attire - hat, baseball pants, glove and cleats - and should bring their own batting equipment. Baseballs will be provided.
Little Rock is coming off a 28-win season in 2018, its most since 2013, and advanced to the second round of the 2018 Sun Belt Conference tournament after spending the majority of the regular season in first place in the Sun Belt West Division. Following the conclusion of the season, closing pitcher
