SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Little Rock sits third after the opening day of the weather-shortened Lone Star Invitational at TPC San Antonio. The Trojans posted a 7-over 295 in round one, sitting six shots off the pace of the leaders.

Originally scheduled to play 36 holes Monday, heavy rains in the San Antonio area forced a weather delay at around 10 a.m. after the teams had completed between four and six holes. The delay lasted four hours with play resuming just before 2 p.m. after the decision was made to shorten Monday's round to just 18 holes.
Two Trojans sit among the individual top-10, led by senior
Justin Warren tied for fifth overall with an even-par 72. Warren went 1-over through the back nine before shooting 1-under over the first nine holes, parring eight of nine with a birdie on the par-four fourth.
Aaron Ramos is one shot back at 1-over 73, tied for 10th among the individual leaderboard. Ramos joined Warren at 1-over after nine and finished even-par through the front nine holes, including a birdie on four and a bogey on the par-four sixth.
Juniors
Logan Pate and
Danial Durisic are just outside the top-20 as the duo both shot a 3-over 75 in round one. While scoring differently on a number of holes, both of them finished at 3-over on the back nine while playing solid over the front nine with an even-par 36. Sophomore
Tiago Lobo rounded out the Trojan scorecard with a 4-over 76 in round one.
With 18 holes down and 18 more to play, the Trojans' 7-over 295 is four shots back of second-place Arkansas State (3-over 291) as Little Rock is six shots behind host UT-San Antonio (1-over 289). Little Rock is at the front of a five-team stretch that is separated by just five shots, leading Sam Houston State (8-over 296) by one stroke and sitting just ahead of Sun Belt foes Texas State (9-over 297), ULM (10-over 298) and Louisiana (12-over 300).
Tuesday's final round will get underway with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. with Little Rock playing with UT-San Antonio, Arkansas State and Sam Houston State in the final round foursomes. Live scoring is available at
