TUCSON, Ariz. – Little Rock closed out the opening event of the spring tournament, tying for 13th at the Arizona Intercollegiate in Tucson. The Trojans posted a 2-over 286 over the final 18 holes of competition, closing the two-day event at 5-over 854, the 10th-lowest 54 hole event in program history.

Little Rock's effort in the desert Southwest was paced by sophomore
Aaron Ramos, who tied for 32nd overall with a 1-under 212, posting an even-par 71 over round three. The Arizona native was effective on the par-fours, finishing tied for 13th at 3-under.
Senior
Justin Warren was the second Trojan finisher, compiling a 1-under 70 en route to an even-par 213, tying for 36th. The effort ups Warren's rounds of par-or-better to eight on the season as his season scoring average now sits at 71.57.
Junior
Carter Patterson placed third among the Little Rock scorecard with a 6-over 219, posting a 5-over 76 over the final round and tying for 59th overall. Junior
Danial Durisic tied for 63rd overall with a 7-over 220 while fellow junior
Logan Pate shot a 2-under 69 in round three, finishing at 8-over 221.
Entering Tuesday's final round 12th among the challenging 16-team field, Little Rock's 2-over 286 moved the Trojans into a tie for 13th overall with Long Beach State with the 5-over 857. Little Rock finished one shot back of 12th-place UTEP (4-over 856), ending the event three shots out of 10th-place.
Little Rock finished second among the field with 175 total pars, tying for seventh as a team in par-three scoring at 3.08.
Host Arizona rallied to take the team title with a 37-under 815, besting Arizona State (34-under 818) by three strokes. St. Mary's (21-under 831) finished third with Iowa State and Texas A&M tying for fourth at 20-under 832.
Little Rock now will have some time before returning to the course, heading back out west for the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate. The Trojans will compete at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, California, February 22-24.
