LITTLE ROCK- Due to a threat of inclement weather in Natchitoches, La. area this weekend, a doubleheader against Northwestern State will be played on Saturday starting at 12 p.m. instead of two separate games on Saturday and Sunday. The 6:30 p.m. series-opener with the Demons will be played as scheduled.
The Trojans are currently 1-7 on the season and suffered a heartbreaking 5-3 loss in extra innings in their last matchup against Louisiana Tech.

Scouting Northwestern State
The Demons are currently hitting .274 as a team while they are led by Caleb Ricca who is hitting .462. Also above the .400 mark is Luke Watson sitting at .412. A total of four Northwestern State hitters are hitting above a .300 clip heading into this weekend's series. The Demons have pitched particularly well up to this point, posting a 3.46 ERA in their six games. Northwestern State is 3-3 on the year and defeated ULM 15-0 in their last contest.
Back on the Road
After this weekend, the Trojans will head to Oxford, Miss. to face off against SEC opponent Ole Miss March 5 at 4 p.m.
