LAREDO, Texas. – After 36 holes in Laredo, Little Rock sits ninth among the 16-team field at the challenging Border Olympics at Laredo Country Club. The Trojans posted 4-under 572 through the first two rounds and are one of 11 teams under par heading into Tuesday's final round.

The Trojans opened the tournament with a 1-over 289 in the morning round, paced by a 3-under 69 from
Justin Warren and a 2-under from
George Scanlon, competing in his first tournament of the year for Little Rock.
Round two saw a solid performance across the board for Little Rock, who notched a 5-under 283 over the afternoon round with three players registering sub-par rounds.
Logan Pate and
Aaron Ramos each shot under 70 with Pate registering his season-low with a 4-under 68 while Ramos shot a 3-under 69. Warren also finished under par with a 1-under 71.
After 18 holes of play, Warren has nearly cracked the individual top-10 with a 4-under 140, tied for 11th overall. Ramos is second on the Trojan scorecard with a 1-under 143, sitting among a 10-way tie for 30th, with Pate at an even-par 144, tied for 40th individually.
Little Rock, which tied for 11th after round one, holds a two shot lead on both UMKC and Lamar (2-under 574) as the two are tied for 10th overall. The Trojans have a chance to make a move over the final 18 holes as Little Rock trails both Oral Roberts and UT San Antonio (5-under 571) by one shot and is three strokes behind sixth-place ULM (7-under 569).
Arkansas State has dominated the tournament through 18 holes, shooting a 31-under 545 to lead second-place UT Rio Grande Valley (20-under 556) by 11 strokes. Sam Houston State and host Houston (18-under 558) are tied for third with Campbell (16-under 560) in fifth.
Tuesday's final round will get underway with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start as the Trojans will play with UMKC and Lamar in the final round pairings. Live scoring will be available at
