LAKE CHARLES, La. – Freshman
Anton Albers posted his first career top-20 finish as four Little Rock golfers finished under par, leading the Trojans to a ninth-place finish at the Lake Charles Toyota Invitational with a 16-under 848.

Albers tied for 16th in the individual standings with a 5-under 211, posting a 1-under 71 over the final 18 holes and giving him three-straight round under par for the week. He was especially efficient in par-five scoring, finishing at 7-under.
Juniors
Danial Durisic and
Logan Pate both finished tied for 29th in the individual standings at 3-under 213, shooting a 74 and 73, respectively, over the final round. Pate made his mark on the par-three holes, finishing at 2-under through 54 holes.
Senior
Justin Warren closed out the tournament at 1-under 215, including a 1-under 71 over the final round, with sophomore
Aaron Ramos finishing at 1-over 217 to close out the Little Rock scorecard. Ramos was one of the tournament's most consistent players, finishing with 40 pars over 54 holes, ranking fourth among the 97-player field.
Entering the day tied for sixth among the 18-team field, Little Rock posted a 3-under 285, but still slipped to ninth following performances from other teams. The Trojans finished four shots better than Sun Belt foe Louisiana (12-under 852) and was one shot back of rival Arkansas State (17-under 847), finishing two shots behind both McNeese and Texas State (18-under 846) who tied for sixth.
TCU captured the team title with a 47-under 817, finishing 15 shots better than second-place Texas Tech (32-under 832). UT San Antonio (24-under 840) finished third with Lamar and ULM (20-under 844) tying for fourth, four shots ahead of the Trojans.
After a week off, Little Rock will return to action in the Pacific Northwest, competing at the Seattle Redhawk Invitational in University Place, Washington. The two day event will be held April 1-2 at Chambers Bay Golf Club.
