WEST POINT, Miss. – Justin Warren and
Logan Pate both finished among the individual top-10, leading Little Rock to a fourth-place showing at the 2019 Old Waverly Collegiate Classic. The Trojans finish the 54-hole tournament at 14-under 850, just four shots back of the team title.

The Trojan effort was paced by Warren's 7-under 209, shooting an even-par 72 over the final round and finishing tied for fifth. Warren notched an eagle on the par-five 10th hole, his second of the tournament, bringing his season scoring average to a 71.38 with 20 rounds of par-or-better, becoming the third Trojan to accomplish that feat.
Pate surged to his second top-10 finish of the season with a 3-under 69 over the final 18 holes to tie for seventh overall, comprised of a team-best six birdies Tuesday. Pate finished below par in all three rounds, bringing his season total of par-or-better rounds to 12, while lowering his season average to an even 73.00.
Aaron Ramos bounced back with a 2-under 70 over the final round to tie for 20th, notching his fifth top-20 showing of the year at 1-under 215. Ramos shot 1-under on both the front and back nine, proving very efficient over the last half with eight-straight pars before birdieing 18 to bring him to 2-under and lowering his season average to 72.28.
Anton Albers finished fourth on the Trojan scorecard with an even-par 216, shooting a 4-over 76 in round three, with
Danial Durisic closing out the Little Rock competitors at 16-over 232, notching a 6-over 78 over the final 18 holes.
Entering the day in fourth-place, the Trojans tied for the second-lowest round of the day at 1-under 287. Sitting in fifth place after it concluded its final round, Little Rock sat and watched as the teams around them continued to shuffle, ultimately finishing in the number four spot when the dust settled.
Little Rock ended the week four shots back of tournament champion ULM (18-under 292) and three strokes behind runner-up Ole Miss (17-under 847). The Trojans were one shot back of Vanderbilt (15-under 849), who is ranked fourth nationally, besting host Mississippi State (13-under 851) in a congested top-five that saw five strokes separate the top five teams.
Little Rock will now try and carry this momentum into the final meet of the regular season, heading to Destin, Florida, for the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Championships. The four-day meet begins Sunday, April 21 at the Raven at San Destin Golf Club, with an automatic berth into the 2019 NCAA Regional Tournament on the line.
