SANDESTIN, Fla. – Three Trojans shoot under par, leading Little Rock into a tie for first after the opening 18 holes of the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Championship at Raven Golf Club. Little Rock posts a 6-under 278 in round one, tied with Coastal Carolina atop the team leaderboard.

The trio of Trojans who shot under par all sit among the individual top-20, led by senior
Justin Warren who is tied for second overall with a 4-under 67, one shot off the individual lead. Sitting even after 18 holes, Warren shot a 4-under 32 over the back nine, helping pace the Trojans.
Sophomore
Aaron Ramos is two shots back of Warren, tied for seventh overall with a 2-under 69. Ramos was strong over the final nine holes of well, regrouping from a 1-over 36 over the front nine to notch a 3-under 33 over the back. His final eight holes consisted of four birdies and four pars to lead him to the 69.
Junior
Danial Durisic was the third Trojan to finish in the red, notching a 1-under 70 and is tied for 14th. Durisic was the top Little Rock performer over the front nine, posting a 1-under 34, and was even over the final nine holes, finishing the day with four total birdies.
Junior
Logan Pate nearly was the fourth Trojan to finish under par Sunday before a double the par-five 17th pushed him to a 1-over 72 as he is tied for 27th overall. Freshman
Anton Albers notched a 5-over 76 in his first conference round, but highlighted the day with a an eagle on the par-five third, one of only three players to register an eagle on the day.
The opening round for the Trojans was a stark contrast from last year's opener which saw Little Rock card a 318 – 40 strokes higher than today's round - and put itself out of contention. Little Rock and Coastal Carolina have some challenging competition as as six schools are within four strokes.
Georgia Southern trails the duo by one shot at 5-under 279, followed by Arkansas State in fourth at 3-under 281. Texas State, UT Arlington, Georgia State and ULM are all sitting tied for fifth at 2-under 282, four shots back of the Trojans and Chanticleers.
Monday's second round will begin with a mirrored start from Sundays opener as Little Rock will once again play with ULM and South Alabama, teeing off from hole 10 beginning at 6:30 a.m. CT. Live scoring is available at
