LITTLE ROCK- The Trojans will return to Sun Belt Conference action when they head to Arlington, Texas to take on UT Arlington in an important three-game series starting April 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Little Rock is currently 11-18 (5-4 Sun Belt) after a historic 17-7 win over No. 14 Arkansas in the first ever meeting between the two teams. The Trojans used 13 unanswered runs to gain the advantage over their SEC opponents while
Ethan Daily shutdown the Razorback bats for five innings in his relief appearance to pick up the save. In their previous conference series, Little Rock swept Georgia State, using a walk-off squeeze from Eldridge Figueroa to seal the series finale.

Alexander's Big Game
Troy Alexander blasted his sixth home run of the season in the midweek matchup with Arkansas. The senior stepped up in the big moment to hit a grand slam to give the Trojans a one-run lead in the fifth inning. Little Rock would not give up the lead after his clutch swing. Alexander also tallied a double and a walk on the night.

Scouting UT Arlington
The Mavericks come into this weekend's series with a 19-11 record (7-2 Sun Belt) and currently sit atop the West Division of the Sun Belt, sharing the top spot with Arkansas State. UT Arlington swept South Alabama in their previous conference series and lost in walk-off fashion in Tuesday's matchup with TCU. The Eagles have posted a .273 team batting average with 18 home runs. Connor Aube leads the way with a .363 average and 15 doubles to his name. Their pitching staff has registered a 4.20 team ERA to this point. Andrew Gross has made 20 relief appearances thus far with a 2.55 ERA.

Midweek Matchup
After this conference series, the Trojans will host in-state rival UAPB in a single midweek game on Tuesday. First pitch with the SWAC opponent is set for 6 p.m. on April 9.
