Riley Pittman's walk-off home run in the bottom of the tenth inning snapped the Trojans' three-game losing streak.
Zach Ours was masterful in his relief appearance, earning the win after throwing 3.1 innings without allowing a run or a hit.

Pittman's Late-Game Heroics
Riley Pittman capped off his 3-for-4 day at the plate with a no-doubt home run to right field to clinch the 6-5 victory over the Golden Eagles. The senior scored two runs in the contest and also reached base via a hit-by-pitch. Pittman is now hitting .331 with 12 home runs on the season and recently broke Little Rock's all-time record for career home runs. Pittman continues to increase his career home run total, currently sitting at 25 career homers.

Scouting Texas State
The Sun Belt-leading Bobcats come into this weekend's series as one of the hottest teams in Division I, with a 33-15 record (17-7 Sun Belt). Texas State is coming off a series victory over Georgia State, taking two out of three games from the Panthers. The Bobcats have posted a .277 team batting average with 43 home runs thus far. They are led by Jaxson Williams hitting at a .335 clip with 5 home runs and 28 RBI. Their pitching staff has been solid, posting a 4.29 team ERA. They are led by Connor Reich who is 7-1 with a 3.42 ERA thus far.

In-State Rivalry
After this series, the Trojans will conclude their season series with Central Arkansas when they will take on the Bears on May 14. First pitch with Central Arkansas is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Dickey-Stephens Park.
