LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock golfers
Danial Durisic and
Justin Warren have both been named 2018-19 Srixon/Cleveland Golf Division I All-America Scholars, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA). The honor is the second of Warren's Trojan career while Durisic picks up his first All-America Scholar accolade.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically at the Division I level. In addition, they participate in 50 percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.

Warren repeats from being named an All-America Scholar in 2017-18, wrapping up one of the greatest careers in Trojan program history. He finished the 2018-19 season with a 71.41 scoring average – the lowest ever by a Trojan and ranking fourth in the Sun Belt Conference. A first team All-Sun Belt selection, Warren finished at par-or-better in 21 of his 32 rounds this season with five top-10 finishes, including setting the program record for lowest round (64) and lowest 54-hole tournament total (11-under 202).

For his career, Warren competed in 22 events over two seasons for Little Rock with a 72.86 scoring average, ranking second all-time for career average. Nearly half of his 65 career rounds were at par-or-better, accomplishing the feat 32 times, with six top-10 individual finishes. The Picton, Australia native will now begin his professional career after qualifying for the PGA Autralasia Tour earlier this year.

Durisic had another strong year for the Trojans, posting a 73.42 scoring average in nine events played with eight rounds at par or better, highlighted by his career-best 5-under 66. Durisic finished ninth at the Little Rock Invitational for his third career top-10 finish, shooting a season-low 3-under 213 at the Lake Charles Toyota Invitational.

The Sungai Buloh, Malaysia native has been a constant in the Trojan lineup for the past three seasons, competing in 27 events while posting a career scoring average of 74.37, which currently ranks 12th in program history. He has notched 17 rounds of par-or-better with seven top-20 finishes, logging 78 total rounds in a Little Rock uniform.

On the course, Warren and Durisic helped Little Rock finish the 2018-19 season ranked in the top-100 for the first time since the 2003-04 season. The Trojans were equally as focused in the classroom as the team currently boasts a combined cumulative grade point average of 3.30.
