CONWAY, Ark. – Little Rock posted a pair of runner-up finishes Saturday as the Trojans competed at the UCA Challenge. Both men's and women's program were led by an eighth-place individual finish.

In a repeat of last week's performance, youth led the way. On the women's side that was freshman Ariana Garcia's eighth-place finish as she ran the 4k race in 15:38.5. For the men, sophomore Carter Reynolds posted a 6k time of 19:34.0 to also finish eighth.
Both teams posted four runners with top-20 finishes.
Youth continued to excel for the men as freshman Colby Swecker finished 10
th with a time of 19:44.9. Sophomore Ricardo Banks finished 16
th with a time of 20:07.2 while junior Jarred O'Connor was right behind him, running 20:09.3 to finish 17
th.
Back on the women's side,
Vianney Sanchez improved four spots from her 2018 UCA Challenge finish to place ninth, running 15:42.6, while Jordan Edwards finished 12
th while posting a time of 15:55.5.
Little Rock is back in action on Saturday, Oct. 5 when the Trojans head to Fayetteville for the Chili Pepper Cross Country Festival.
