LITTLE ROCK - The Little Rock wrestling team is finally back in action this weekend for the first time since last season. 22 Trojans are heading to Omaha, Nebraska to compete in the 2020 United World Wrestling (UWW) U23 and Junior Nationals, which run from Thursday, November 12 through Sunday, November 15 at the MECA - CHI Health Center Omaha. The event will be streamed live on FloWrestling.

"We are really excited for our student athletes to have the ability to get back on the mat," said head coach Neil Erisman. "This is going to be a great test and opportunity for our guys. Making the World Team Trials is a new standard that we want to set for the program and help our athletes come one step closer to their dreams. This standard will elevate us to a new level. This should be a great weekend!"
This event will serve as the 2020 Junior Team Trials. In all styles, the winner of the UWW U23 Nationals will qualify for the 2021 Senior World Team Trials. Meanwhile, the winner of the UWW Junior Nationals will earn a bid to the 2021 Senior World Team Trials as well as the 2021 Junior World Team Trials, if age eligible.
