Tournament Field
Little Rock is one of 12 teams competing in this year's event at Squire Creek in a field comprised entirely of Sun Belt, Conference USA and Southland Conference schools. Little Rock will be joined by league opponents Louisiana, South Alabama, Texas State and ULM while Abilene Christian, Central Arkansas, Houston Baptist and Lamar will represent the Southland. Host Louisiana Tech, UAB and Western Kentucky from Conference USA round out the field.
Â
Trojan Lineup
Little Rock heads into the first tournament of the new year with two familiar faces and three newcomers, led by fifth-year
Logan Pate and junior
Anton Albers. The returning duo will be joined by three newcomers in
Hunter Walker,
Magnus Lomholt and
Nico Horder, making their Trojan debuts.

Â
Welcome Back
Little Rock returns four key contributors from last year's season, one that was cut short due to the global coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to the NCAA's ruling allowing an extra season of eligibility for spring sports,
Logan Pate will return to the Trojans for a fifth season coming off his team-best 73.86 scoring average in 2019-20 with a team-high seven rounds of par or better.
Anton Albers,
Marcel Rauch and
Devon Whitaker each were significant contributors last season as well with Albers ranking second on the team with a 74.76 average and Rauch a 75.67 mark competing in all seven tournaments.

Welcome to the Rock
Head coach
Jake Harrington added five newcomers in the offseason, consisting of three transfers and a pair of freshmen. The five span five different countries, comprised of
Nico Horder (Munich, Germany),
Magnus Lomholt (Asnaes, Denmark),
Ryan McNelis (Ballygawley, Northern Ireland),
Vid Potocar (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and
Hunter Walker (Cabot, Arkansas). Horder, Lomholt and Walker are entering their sophomore seasons with McNelis and Potocar beginning their freshman seasons.
Â
Little Rock Down in the Boot
Little Rock's trip to the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate marks its first time appearing in the event since 2014, a tournament which saw the Trojans place eighth among the 10-team field. Despite its proximity, Little Rock has not played many tournaments in the Pelican State in recent years. The only other tournament the Trojans have played in the state of Louisiana since its appearance in the 2014 Jim Rivers Collegiate was a trip to Lake Charles in the spring of 2019, finishing ninth at the Lake Charles Toyota Invitational.
Â
Looking Back
Like the rest of the sporting world, Little Rock's spring season came to a sudden halt in the spring, being canceled on March 12 due to the global coronavirus pandemic. In seven events on the year, Little Rock posted a 295.48 team scoring average, finishing among the top-five in three different tournaments. As a team, the Trojans posted 20 individual rounds of par-or-better with a pair of individual top-10 finishes, led by Pate's 73.86 scoring average and a low round of 68.
