CHOUDRANT, La. – Anton Albers tied for seventh while Little Rock placed sixth at the 2020 Jim Rivers Intercollegiate at Squire Creek Country Club. The Trojans finished the three-day event at 2-over 866, including a 3-over 291 over the final 18 holes.

Albers tied for seventh among the 73-player field with a 2-under 214, notching the first top-10 individual performance of his Little Rock career. He extended his streak of holes at par-or-better for this tournament to 40 before struggling on the front nine, posting a 3-over 75 over the final 18. He was tied with teammate
Logan Pate for the most pars among all players, registering par in 40 of the 54 holes.
Magnus Lomholt also posted the first top-20 showing of his Little Rock career, tying for 18th with a 2-over 218 following his final round 2-over 74. Lomholt was consistent over the back nine, starting with an eagle on the par-five ninth, and posting a pair of birdies to go along with five pars over the final nine holes.
Pate just missed a top-20 finish as well as he remained consistent throughout the week, firing a 1-over 73 for the third-straight round to finish at 3-over 219.
Nico Horder placed 29th with a 4-over 221, as he logged the low round of the day for Little Rock with a 2-under 70 – his first below par round as a Trojan.
Vid Potocar tied for 41st overall at 8-over 224, including a 2-over 74 in round three, while
Hunter Walker rounded out the Little Rock scorecard with an 11-over 227.
Entering the day in fifth-place, Little Rock slipped one spot over the final 18 holes to just miss its first top-five team finish of 2020-21. The Trojans finished four shots back of fifth-place ULM (2-under 862) and were six shots ahead of Lamar (8-over 872) in seventh.
UAB captured the team title with an impressive 21-under 843, besting South Alabama (7-under 857) by 14 strokes. Texas State (5-under 859) finished third while host Louisiana Tech surged over the final 18 holes with an 11-under 277, placing fourth at 4-under 860.
Little Rock will look to regroup quick as the Trojans return to action next weekend, heading to the Scenic City Intercollegiate in Ooltewah, Tenn. Hosted by UT-Chattanooga, the tournament will be held Monday and Tuesday, September 21-22, at The Honors Course just outside of Chattanooga.
