Four Trojans Finish Among Top-20 As Little Rock Ties For Third in Tennessee

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. – Four Trojans finished among the individual top-20 as Little Rock tied for third among a competitive field at the 2020 Scenic City Collegiate, played at the Honors Course. The Trojans closed out the tournament with a 14-over 302, giving Little Rock a 29-over 893 over the 54 hole event.

Logan Pate led the charge for Little Rock, tying for seventh among the individual field with a 5-over 221, including a 4-over 76 over the final 18 holes. Pate was the tournament leader on par-three holes, finishing at even par, while ranking third on par-fives at 4-under. It is the fifth top-10 tournament finish of Pate's Trojan career, tying his best tournament showing from the 2019 Old Waverly Collegiate and the 2016 Memphis Intercollegiate.
 
Magnus Lomholt and Anton Albers each tied for 12th among the 63-player field, carding an 8-over 224. Lomholt registered the low round of the day for Little Rock with a 2-over 74, capped by a chip-in birdie on 18, to post his first career top-20 finish at the Division I level. The sophomore ranked second among the field with 35 pars over the 54-hole tournament and tied for fourth overall on par-four scoring at 4-over.
 
For Albers, he ended the tournament with a 4-over 76, notching his second top-20 showing of the young season and the fifth of his Trojan career. The junior finished a 5-over on par-four holes, tied for eighth overall, and was at 2-under on par-fives, second among the Trojan lineup.
 
Nico Horder was the fourth Trojan to finish among the individual top-20, sitting in sole possession of 16th overall at 11-over 227. Horder finished with a 4-over 76 over the final 18 holes and matched Lomholt for second on the team in par-three scoring at 3-over while finishing at 1-over on the par-fives.
 
Vid Potocar tied for 50th at the Honors Course with a 28-over 244, including a 7-over 79 Tuesday. Hunter Walker rounded out the Little Rock six-man scorecard with a 29-over 245, tying for 53rd overall.
 
Entering the day tied for first, Little Rock slipped two spots to settle for a third-place tie with Sun Belt foe Georgia Southern at 29-over 893. UAB captured the team title at 14-over 878, finishing six shots better than second place East Tennessee State (20-over 884) and 15 strokes better than the Trojans and Eagles. Host Chattanooga placed fifth with a 47-over 911.
 
After playing back-to-back weeks, Little Rock will now have some time off before returning to competition, doing so on a very familiar course. The Trojans' next event will be its annual host event at Chenal Country Club, taking place Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20.
