Magnus Lomholt tied the ninth-lowest tournament score in program history at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate, shooting an 8-under 208 to finish third among the 119-player field at Squire Creek Country Club on September 14. Lomholt paced a Trojan squad that finished fifth among the 21-team field in northern Louisiana, posting a 2-under 862 over the three-day event. Little Rock notched a 7-over 295 in round three, slipping one spot but finishing as one of just five teams to finish the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate under par.
Â
Trojans at Trinity Forest
Trinity Forest is a course Little Rock has grown accustomed to playing at, setting numerous program records at the event. In the five years of SMU's host tournament, two Trojan players sit atop the top-six individual rounds as Justin Warren (2018) and
Anton Albers (2021) both fired 7-under 64s with Warren's 11-under 202 in 2018 ranking as the third-best tournament score. Albers made his mark at Trinity Forest in the spring, winning the individual title with a 7-under 206 as Little Rock finished third in the spring of 2021, fifth in 2019 and sixth in 2018.
