Â
Tournament Field
Little Rock will be going against one of its most challenging fields of the season as 10 of the 13 teams competing are ranked among the GolfStat Top-100. The Trojans, ranked 50th nationally, will go head-to-head with a Big 12-heavy field, including Oklahoma (No. 2), Oklahoma State (No. 11), Texas (No. 12), Texas Tech (No. 19), Baylor (No. 31), TCU (No. 46), Kansas State (No. 60) and West Virginia (No. 95). New Mexico (No. 27) is also among the top-100 as UT Arlington joins the Trojans as the lone Sun Belt schools.
Â
Trojan Lineup
Little Rock will go with the same lineup it used in last week's Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas, anchored by
Anton Albers, who has won back-to-back individual titles.

Come Back to Texas
Little Rock is becoming familiar with the state of Texas as the Trojans are playing in their third-straight tournament in the Lone Star state. Little Rock competed in the Individual Spring Kickoff in Las Colinas February 8, then participated in the Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas last week. This week's event was suppose to be the fourth-straight in Texas, but the Trojans withdrew from the Border Olympics in Laredo in late February due to the winter storms that hit Arkansas and Texas and hindered travel conditions.
Last Time Out
For the second time in as many tournaments,Â
Anton Albers emerged as the individual champion, capturing the 2021 Trinity Forest Invitational on March 9. Albers shot a 7-under 64 over the final round, including a 25-foot putt on 18 to win the tournament, posting a 7-under 206 to earn medalist honors. The effort by Albers helped Little Rock finish third among the 15-team field with a 17-over 869, including a 3-over 287 over the final 18 holes. It is the Trojans' third-straight top-three team finish as they have finished in the top-six in all four events this season.
Nico Horder joined Albers in the top-20, finishing tied for 15th overall with a 4-over 217 behind a 1-over 73 in round three. It is the second top-20 individual showing for Horder who also set a new personal tournament-best with his 217

Another Crown for Anton
Anton Albers has enjoyed his two trips to Texas, winning back-to-back individual tournament titles. He captured the Individual Spring Kickoff title on February 8 with a 1-under 141, then shot a 7-under 64 over the final round to win the Trinity Forest Invitational with a 7-under 206, tying the program record for lowest individual round. He becomes the fourth player in program history to win multiple individual tournament titles, joining Daniel Fox (four), Alex Maynard (two) and
Patrick Sullivan (two).
Â
Going Low
The efforts in Dallas last week added to a strong season thus far for the Trojans as the team boasts a scoring average of 288.08, which currently ranks second in program history behind the 286.97 set in 2018-19. Individually, the Trojans have combined for 22 rounds of par-or-better, led by seven from
Anton Albers, 10 of which have been in the 60s. Little Rock has posted nine top-10 individual finishes and an additional seven top-20 showings.
