AUSTIN, Texas – Little Rock tied for seventh among the 13-team field at the George Hannon Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Texas. The Trojans posted a 6-over 290 over the final 18 holes to card a 24-over 876 for the week.

Little Rock was led by Texas native
Logan Pate, who just missed a top-20 finish by tying for 24th at 4-over 217, including a 4-over 75 over the final 18 holes. He was followed by the duo of
Nico Horder and
Magnus Lomholt, both of which finished at 8-over 221. Horder was strong over the final 18 holes with a 1-over 73 while Lomholt posted a 5-over 76.
Anton Albers had the low round of the day for the Trojans with a 2-under 69, bouncing back from a frustrating opening day to finish at 10-over 223.
Ryan McNelis closed out the Little Rock competitors with an 11-over 224, including a 2-over 73 in round three.
Lomholt was among the tournament's best on par three scoring, finishing tied for fifth at even par through the two-day event. Albers once again was strong on the par-fives at 3-under, averaging 4.67 strokes per par-five hole. He registered a team-best birdies, followed by Lomholt at 11, with McNelis leading the Trojans with 35 pars on 54 holes.
Entering the day tied for ninth, Little Rock jumped two spots to finish tied with TCU at 24-over 876, one shot better than a three-way tie for ninth comprised of Kansas State, West Virginia and. Baylor (25-over 877). Little Rock was three shots behind sixth-place Florida Atlantic (21-over 873) and eight strokes back of fifth-place New Mexico (16-over 868).
Host Texas captured the team title at 17-under 835, defeating both Texas Tech and Oklahoma who tied for second at 9-under 843. Oklahoma State was the fourth team to finish under par at 5-under 847.
Little Rock returns to action in just over a week and a half, making the trip to West Point, Mississippi for the Old Waverly Intercollegiate. Hosted by Mississippi State, the three-day event will run Friday, March 26 through Sunday, March 28.
