Opening Tee
After nearly a month-long hiatus, Little Rock finally returns to the course for the final tournament of 2020-21, competing in the Sun Belt Championship April 25-28 in El Dorado.

Tournament Information
The 2021 Sun Belt Championship will be held Sunday, April 25 through Wednesday, April 28 at Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado – a par-72, 7,181-yard course. The format for this year's tournament will remain the same as in past seasons as all 12 teams will compete in a 54-hole event from Sunday through Tuesday, then the top-four teams will compete in a match play format on Wednesday. Tee times will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day. Live scoring is available at GolfStat.com and each round will have live streaming coverage on ESPN+.

Tournament Field
All 12 Sun Belt schools are expected to compete at Mystic Creek with seedings based on the latest GolfStat rankings. Little Rock enters the tournament as the number three seed, ranked 57th nationally, and will begin with an 8:30 a.m. tee time Sunday morning with number one seed Georgia Southern (No. 43) and number two seed Arkansas State (No. 54). The remaining seed order is Coastal Carolina (4), ULM (5), Louisiana (6), Appalachian State (7), Texas State (8), South Alabama (9), UT Arlington (10), Georgia State (11) and Troy (12).

Little Rock will have predominantly the same lineup it has used all spring, led by junior
Anton Albers' 71.85 scoring average and fifth-year
Logan Pate's 73.10 average.
Nico Horder and
Magnus Lomholt will also compete as the lone change will be
Marcel Rauch occupying the number five position.

Trojans at Sun Belt Championship
Little Rock is hoping to build off a strong 2020-21 season to make a strong showing at the conference event. The Trojans have finished in the top-10 12 times since 2006 with a pair of top-five showings, highlighted by a fourth-place finish in 2012. In 2019, Little Rock tied for sixth at the end of the 54-hole event and were among the team leaders for the duration of the tournament before struggling over the final five holes to slip out of contention for match play.

Last Time Out
Little Rock is coming off a 12th-place finish at the Old Waverly Intercollegiate, held March 26-28 in West Point, Mississippi. The Trojans carded a 3-over 291 over the final round, the third-best score of the day among the field, to post an 11-over 875 against a competitive field that included 13 teams in the GolfStat top-60 and nine SEC schools.
Anton Albers led the Trojans with another top-20 finish, tying for 16th individually with a 1-under 215, his sixth top-20 showing in seven tournaments on the year.

Albers Standing Out
Junior
Anton Albers has emerged as one of the top golfers in the Sun Belt Conference in 2020-21, putting together a historic season for the Trojans. Albers is the second-ranked player in the conference heading into the tournament at number 146 in the GolfStat rankings, trailing only Arkansas State's Julien Sale (No. 76). Albers leads the Trojans with a 71.85 scoring average this season, which currently ranks third in program history, finishing in the top-20 in six of his seven events this year. Albers registered back-to-back tournament wins this spring, becoming the second Trojan ever to have back-to-back victories, and has registered 10 rounds of par-or-better this season with a pair of 64s, tying the program low.

Pate's Send-Off
Fifth year
Logan Pate was able to take advantage of the extra year of eligibility due to the COVID pandemic, returning for his final season in 2020-21. Pate ranks second on the team with a 73.10 scoring average, currently 15th in program history, with four rounds of par-or-better and three top-10 finishes. The Richmond, Texas native enters the among the top-10 in program history in career rounds played (111 – T-6th), career scoring average (73.65 – 6th) and career par-or-better rounds (36 – 4th), finishing in the top-10 on seven occasions.

Key Additions
Little Rock's additions of
Nico Horder and
Magnus Lomholt have been key reasons why the Trojans rank in the top-60 nationally. The duo have competed in all six team events on the year for the Trojans with Lomholt posting a 73.39 scoring average and Horder adding a 73.90 mark. They have combined for 10 rounds of par-or-better and five top-20 tournament finishes, led by Lomholt tying for fourth at the Little Rock Invitational.

Historic Home Event
Little Rock's 2020-21 season has been highlighted by the Trojans' team championship at its host event in October at Chenal Country Club. Little Rock shattered a number of program records, finishing at 35-under 829 to claim the team title, including a shooting 32-under over the final two rounds. Four Trojans finished in the top-20, including
Magnus Lomholt tying for fourth,
Marcel Rauch tying for seventh and
Logan Pate tying for 10th.

Eyeing a Record
Little Rock enters the Sun Belt Championship as the number 57 program nationally, well within striking distance of an impressive program record. Little Rock's best team ranking was 56th in 2000-01, as the Trojans have finished among the top-100 six times in program history. Little Rock's best finish under head coach
Jake Harrington was finishing 100th in 2018-19, followed by a number 101 finish in 2019-20.
