Three Things to Know
- Curington to Solidify Spot
Ryan Curington will look to improve his mark in the long jump this weekend, entering the week ranked 24th on the West Prelims performance list. With the top 32 advancing to the NCAA postseason, Curington could help solidify his spot by surpassing his previous best mark (24-11.25, 7.60m) with a chance at setting a new school record.
- 1-2 Punch
Little Rock is a major threat in the men's high jump where Johnathan Jones ranks 12th on the West Prelims performance list and Christian Matamoros knocking on the door. Look for the latter to make a big move and move into postseason contention.
- Jackson Ready for Hurdles
Ka'Neisha Jackson already hurdled over one challenge this week - graduation. Now she turns her attention to the 400m hurdles where she ranks 64th on the West prelims performance list. Look for Jackson to run a fast time in Starkville this weekend.
