LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The culmination of the outdoor season's efforts gets put to the test this week as Little Rock will head to Mobile, Alabama for the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship track and field meet.
Â
This will be the first outdoor championship meet since 2019 as last year's event was canceled due to the pandemic. The year's gap has produced a younger and expanded Trojan contingent focused on improving the team's last outing.
Â
The three-day meet, which begins on Thursday, will be broadcast on ESPN+ with live results also available.

Three Things to Know
- The Young Make Their Debut
With no championship meet last season due to the pandemic, a majority of Trojans will making their first appearance at an outdoor conference championship meet.
- Looking to Score Again
Brandi Allen, Helensia Green and Aaliyah Lacy all were part of the women's 4x100m relay that scored a point at the 2019 Sun Belt Championship meet and they are looking to improve upon that performance. Allen and Lacy are slated to compete in the relay race this year.
- Work to Do
Andre Dibbles ranks 49th in the West in the 100m which means he has work to do, as do a few others. This will be his (and their) last chance. With the NCAA Prelims looming, several Trojans will be looking to improve their top marks for this season and advance to the West Prelims later this month.
