Add it to the list of accolades for Bianchi. The redshirt senior concluded his career by setting several benchmarks for future Trojan wrestlers, which includes helping Little Rock to its first DI team wins, becoming
the first ranked individual, as well as
the first NCAA qualifier in school history.
To be eligible for the award, nominees must either have a 3.0 cumulative grade-point-average and earn All-American honors in the same academic year, have a 3.2 cumulative grade-point-average and have been a NCAA Tournament qualifier in the same academic year, or must have won 60% of their total matches in at least 60% of the team's schedule.
Bianchi boasted a 4.0 grade-point-average, landing him on the
Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll, advanced to the second day of Nationals, and finished with a regular season record of 9-5 before concluding postseason with a 10-7 mark. He has plans to complete his Master's in Sport Management this upcoming year, aiding Little Rock as a graduate assistant coach.
