CHOUDRANT, La. – Little Rock shaved three strokes off its opening round total, firing a 6-under 282 over round two, to sit fourth among the 21-team field at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate with a 9-under 567. The Trojans enter Tuesday's final round five shots off the team lead.

Three of the five Trojan competitors finished under par Monday, led by
Magnus Lomholt firing a career-low 4-under 68 to sit at 6-under 138 and third among the individual standings. Lomholt went without a bogey in round two, finishing the day with the four birdies and 14 pars, sitting two shots off the individual leader.

Marcel Rauch had another solid round Monday, firing a 2-under 70 with five birdies and 10 pars on the day. Rauch is tied for 10th among the individual standings at 3-under 141, two shots better than
Archie Smith's 1-under 143. Smith posted a 1-over 73 on day two and is the third Trojan among the individual top-20, tied for 18th overall.

Jansen Smith was the third Trojan to finish under par Monday, registering a 1-under 71 with a pair of birdies and an eagle on the par-five 17th hole. Smith is tied for 36th at 1-over 145 with
Nico Horder rounding out the Little Rock scorecard with a 7-over 151, including a 4-over 76 in round two.

Ryan McNelis posted a 4-over 76 in round two competing as an individual, sitting at 10-over 154.

Entering the day in a three-way tie for second, Little Rock did its part with the 6-under 282, but slipped two spots to fourth behind impressive performances from teams ahead of them. UT San Antonio took over the team lead with a 16-under 272 Monday, sitting at 14-under 562 and leading second-place Louisiana Tech (11-under 565) by three shots. LSU (10-under 566) is one shot better than the Trojans with Southern Miss (7-under 569) two shots back in fifth.

Little Rock will once again be in the final groupings to get underway in Tuesday's final round, teamed with UT San Antonio, Louisiana Tech and LSU in the final round groupings.
