Weather conditions were less than ideal as temperatures hovered in the mid 30s at first tee with strong winds that proved challenging throughout the day. Little Rock's effort was led by Archie Smith's 2-over 74 as Smith posted his first career top-10 finish, tying for eighth with an even-par 216. Smith tied for the tournament lead on par-three holes at 1-under and was Little Rock's top competitor on par-fives at 5-under.

Magnus Lomholt finished among the individual top-20 as well for the Trojans, tying for 19th with a 3-over 219, shooting a 5-over 76 in round three. Lomholt was even in par-three scoring and registered the 10th top-20 individual showing of his Little Rock career.

Matteo Cristoni and Anton Albers both tied for 43rd individually at 11-over 227 with Jansen Smith rounding out the Little Rock scorecard at 13-over 229.

Four other Trojans competed as individuals, led by Nico Horder's 4-over 220, including a 2-under 70 on a challenging round three, to finish tied for 21st overall. Ryan McNelis posted a 22-over 238 with Phisher Phillips (25-over 241) and Louis Talarczyk (29-over 243) closing out the Trojan competitors.

Entering the day in sixth, Little Rock maintained its position as the Trojans were unable to gain the needed momentum, finishing three shots ahead of seventh-place Boston College (19-over 883) and five shots behind both former Sun Belt foes Troy and ULM (11-over 875) in fourth.

Southern Miss won the team championship with a 1-over 865, holding off VCU (5-over 869) by four shots to claim its first Little Rock Invitational championship. UTEP (10-over 874) finished third with the Warhawks and Trojans sitting above Little Rock in the team standings.

Little Rock closes out a solid fall season with all five tournaments resulting in a top-six team finish, including a pair of tournament titles and an additional runner-up showing. The Trojans will head into their winter break and return to action in February at the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate in Henderson, Nevada.
