DALLAS, Texas – Little Rock holds the team lead after 18 holes of the Trinity Forest Invitational, firing a 9-under 279 in round one to build a three-shot lead.

The effort was paced by three Trojans shooting under par in round one, led by
Jansen Smith's 4-under 68, sitting tied for second in the individual standings.
Matteo Cristoni posted a 3-under 69 and is tied for eighth overall while
Nico Horder fired a 2-under 70, sittinig tied for 13th. The trio combined for 12 birdies with Smith's six tied for the individual lead.
Archie Smith finished even after 18 holes, tied for 24th in the individual standings.
Anton Albers posted a 1-over 73 to round out the Little Rock scorecard while
Magnus Lomholt carded a 4-over 76 competing as an individual.
Little Rock's 9-under 279 is three shots better than the 6-under 282 from host SMU and four shots better than third-place Furman's 5-under 283. Three other teams finished under par over the opening 18 holes, including SMU's B-team and Baylor shooting a 4-under 284 with Florida Atlantic notching a 2-under 286 to sit sixth.
Monday's round two gets underway with tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. with the Trojans among the final wave to tee off from hole one. Paired with SMU and Furman, Little Rock will begin with Albers' 10:10 a.m. tee time, leading up to J. Smith's 10:50 a.m. start in the final grouping. Live scoring will be available at
