LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A seven run fifth inning highlighted by a
Tyler Williams three run home run all but secured victory for the City Slickers on Thursday afternoon.
Stellar pitching and a lack of free bases benefited the City Slickers in the game. Sophomore Transfer Lukas Frers gave the team a quality start, pitching four innings while only giving up four hits and two runs and striking out two.
The Slicker win sets up a game three winner-take-all that will be held at Gary Hogan Field this Saturday, with first pitch at 11:00 a.m.
