DALLAS, Texas – Four Trojans sit among the individual top-20 as Little Rock remains in first through the first 36 holes of the Trinity Forest Invitational. The Trojans posted a 6-under 282 in round two and sit at 15-under 561, one shot ahead of host SMU heading into Tuesday's final round.

The charge was led by another impressive round from
Matteo Cristoni, who fired a 5-under 67 Monday to move into sole possession of third place overall at 8-under 136. Cristoni went 1-under on the front nine before a 4-under 32 over the back nine with his lone blemish a bogey on number 13. Cristoni is tied for the tournament lead with 26 pars, tied for fifth in par-four scoring at 3-under.
The Smith duo of
Archie Smith and
Jansen Smith are currently tied for 13th at 2-under 142, led by Archie's 2-under 70 in round two. Jansen posted a 2-over 74 as the duo both hold a one shot lead on
Nico Horder, who is tied for 19th individually at 1-over 143 following a second round 1-over 73.
Anton Albers went even in round two with a 72, including a 3-under 33 over the back nine, to sit tied for 37th at 1-over 145.
Magnus Lomholt sits at 7-over 151 following a second round 3-over 75 competing as an individual.
Opening round two in first place, Little Rock maintained its lead, but saw the deficit shrink to one stroke after host SMU posted an 8-under 280 to move to within one stroke at 14-under 562. The Trojans head into Tuesday with a two-shot lead on third-place Baylor (13-under 563) and are four shots up on fourth-place Furman (11-under 565), holding a 10-shot lead on both Houston and SMU's "B" team in a tie for fifth (5-under 571).
Little Rock will try for the 33rd tournament title in program history Tuesday in Dallas, teeing off among the final wave from hole one along with SMU and Baylor. The Trojans will get underway with Albers' 10:10 a.m. tee time, leading up to Cristoni getting underway at 10:50 a.m. Live scoring is available at
