The win for Little Rock was its second of the season after claiming the season-opening Olympic Club Intercollegiate and the 33rd all-time tournament win in program history. It was also the 13th team tournament title for the Trojans under head coach Jake Harrington.

The three days in Dallas etched a handful of positions in the Little Rock record book, both from a team and individual standpoint. The 16-under 272 is tied for the second-lowest team round in program history, two shots off the 18-under 270 set at the 2020 Little Rock Invitational. The 31-under 833 is third all-time in program history, four shots back of the program-record 829 set twice within the last year.

Individually, four Trojans finished among the top-20, led by OVC Golfer of the Month Matteo Cristoni finshing in sole possession of fourth at 10-under 206. Cristoni led all players in par-three scoring at 3-under and was second in total pars with 40 as his 206 is tied for the eighth-lowest individual tournament in program history, giving him three top-four individual finishes on the year.

Sitting at 1-over heading into the final round, Anton Albers tied his own program record with an 8-under 64 in round three, jumping 30 spots to tie for seventh individually. Albers registers the third 64 of his Little Rock career as he closes out the tournament at 7-under 209, tallying his 14th top-10 individual finish as a Trojan.

Jansen Smith finished the final round with a 4-under 68 to tie for 10th, notching his third-straight top-10 individual showing. Smith was second on the team in par-five scoring at 5-under and his 13 birdies ranked second on the Trojan scorecard as he has registered par-or-better rounds in six of his nine rounds this season.

Archie Smith closed out the top-20 finishers, posting his second career top-20 finish after tying for 16th with a 4-under 212 and setting a new personal 54-hole best. Smith matched his second round with a 2-under 70 and was the top Trojan on the par-five holes, finishing at 7-under, while his 14 birdies also led Little Rock.  He was one of three Trojans to card an eagle, joined by Albers and Magnus Lomholt.

Nico Horder rounded out the Trojan scorecard with a 3-over 217, shooting a 2-over 74 in round three to tie for 39th in the team standings while registering a tournament-best 41 pars. Lomholt tallied a 2-under 70 in round three and finished at 5-over 221 competing as an individual.

Entering Tuesday's final round with a one-shot lead on host SMU, Little Rock came out strong over the front nine holes, sitting at 11-under as a team, paced by a 4-under 32 from Albers. The Trojans led by as many as six strokes with five holes to go, then closed out the 33rd team title in program history by going 2-under over the final five to seal the win.

Little Rock has found success at Trinity Forest Golf Club as the Trojans have now recorded four-straight top-five team finishes at the event. Little Rock finished third in both the spring and fall events in 2021 after placing fifth in 2019.

The Trojans bested SMU (28-under 836) by three shots and was eight better than third-place Baylor (23-under 841). With its pair of tournament wins this season, along with the second-place finish at last week's Windon Memorial Classic, Little Rock has posted a combined head-to-head record of 36-1-1 in events this season.

Little Rock's busy fall continues as the Trojans now get set for the third of four-straight events next week, traveling north to West Lafayette, Indiana for the Purdue Fall Invitational. The two-day event will be held Monday, October 10 and Tuesday, October 11 at Kampen Golf Club.
