PENSACOLA, Fla. – Little Rock looks to extend a hot February into March on Wednesday when it opens the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Tournament with a first round game against ULM.
Â
The fifth-seeded Trojans (15-9, 8-4 Sun Belt) have won seven of their past eight games and will meet the Warhawks (4-24, 0-14) in tournament play for just the second time.
Â
Wednesday's game is set to tip-off at 2 p.m. with Noah Frary (play-by-play) and Sophie Cunningham (analyst) calling the action on ESPN+. In central Arkansas, Trojan fans can listen to Trey Schaap call the action on 920 AM The Sports Animal.

Five Things to Know
- Things Are Heating Up
Who said February was a cold month? Little Rock is making February a month of hot instead of cold as the Trojans enter this game having won seven of their last eight games heading into conference tournament play. That includes a heartfelt 88-36 win over Champion Christian on Valentine's Day.
- So Is DJ
Dariel Johnson was one of the leaders of that February hot streak as the senior forward has reached double figures in eight consecutive games entering the Sun Belt Tournament.
- Beware the Scoring Trojans
Because if Little Rock's shots start falling, things don't go well for others. The Trojans are 5-0 this season when scoring 70 or more points.
- Because the Defense is Second-to-None
Joe Foley's defense is legendary. So much so it is the most cited reason for nightmares among Sun Belt head coaches. That is because when Little Rock holds teams below 60 points, the Trojans are 12-0 this season.
- So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Good Night
