LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The 2022 outdoor season gets into full swing for Little Rock track and field starting Friday when the Trojans head to Conway for the Richard Martin Jr. Invitational hosted by Central Arkansas.
Â
A few events will take place Friday afternoon before most of the competition gets underway Saturday.

Three Things to Know
- A Full Start
While technically this is the second meet of the outdoor season, this will be the first meet for a majority of the Trojans. The first meet of the outdoor season was targeted towards multis leaving this week's meet the first chance for most of Little Rock's athletes to compete in the outdoor season.
- Keep It Going
For the men's jumps, Little Rock looks to keep up the high standards set at the end of the indoor season. Ryan Curington and Jordan Wallace both earned third team all-conference honors last month after claiming bronze at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships. Both look to keep the momentum going in the outdoor season.
- Last Trip Around the Sun
And we're finally here. This marks the final semester and the final season for Little Rock's Team as part of the Sun Belt Conference. The Trojans are looking end their tenure on a high note and this weekend's meet starts the process to build towards the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships on May 12-14 in Lafayette, Louisiana.
