Albers had another impressive outing over the final 18 holes at Reflection Bay Golf Club, posting a 5-under 67 to finish two shots off the individual title. Albers went without a blemish over the final round, registering five birdies and 13 pars, for his 12th-straight under par round this season and his sixth round in the 60s.

The 203 from Albers ties his career-low for a tournament, set in October at the Little Rock Invitational, as it is one off the program record for a career low tournament, set by Justin Warren at the 2018 Trinity Forest Invitational as he carded an 11-under 202. Albers recorded the ninth top-10 individual finish of his career, lowering his season scoring average to an even 69.00.

Albers was joined in the individual top-five by Jansen Smith, who finished in sole possession of fifth at 8-under 208 following his final round 3-under 69. The 208 from Jansen is three off his career low of 205, set at the Trinity Forest Invitational, as he registered the second top-five finish of his Trojan career, lowering his scoring average to 71.27.

All six Trojan competitors finished the day at even-par or better, including a 3-under 69 from Marcel Rauch, a 1-under 71 from Nico Horder and an even-par 72 from Magnus Lomholt while Archie Smith shot a 1-under 71, competing as an individual.

The effort by the Trojans helped Little Rock tie the seventh-lowest round in program history with the 12-under 276 while Little Rock's 17-under 847 is tied for the eighth-lowest tournament total in program history.

Smith was the third Trojan to finish among the individual top-20, finishing 15th as an individual with a 3-under 213 behind his final round 71. Lomholt tied for 28th at 1-over 217 with Rauch carding a 4-over 220 and Horder rounding out the scorecard at 8-over 224.

Entering the day in fourth place in the team standings, Little Rock made a charge at the team leaderboard, at one point sitting at 21-under and in sole possession of first place. But a handful of bogeys over the final nine holes slipped Little Rock to the 17-under 847, finishing 11 shots back of tournament champion West Virginia's 28-under 836.

The Trojans, who entered this week's event as the number three ranked team among the field, bested a pair of top-40 teams, finishing four shots better than 37th-place UAB (13-under 851) and eight shots ahead of 39th-ranked Utah (9-under 855) with Oregon State tying the Blazers for third in the team standings with the 13-under 851.

With the tournament finish in Nevada, Little Rock has now finished in the team top-five in all five events this year, including the tournament championship at the Little Rock Invitational and tying for third at both the Trinity Forest Invitational and the Little Rock White Sands Bahamas Invitational. The Trojans currently boast a team scoring average of 283.60, which currently ranks as the lowest in program history.

Little Rock will have little time to enjoy this performance as the Trojans will make the four and a half hour trip south to Scottsdale for the Deseret Mountain Intercollegiate, being held Saturday and Sunday at Desert Mountain Golf Club.
