Finishing the final few holes of the darkness-suspended round two, Little Rock ended the second round at 7-over 583 following a 9-over 297 and sitting third among the team field. The Trojans then shot a 6-over 294 over the final 18 holes, sitting tied with UAB at 13-over at the end of competition. A scoring error was discovered on Michigan's scorecard a few days later, bumping the Wolverines to 13-over and resulting in Little Rock, Michigan and UAB all sharing the team title.

It is the second tournament this season Little Rock has claimed at least a share of the team title after winning the Little Rock Invitational at Chenal Country Club in October. It will officially go down as the 28th time the Trojans have captured at least a share of the team title in an event and the sixth under head coach Jake Harrington.

Individually, Lomholt finished round two with a 1-over 73, going even over the back nine to sit among a six-way tie for 10th. Lomholt then went on to shoot a 2-under 70 over the final 18 holes, finishing at 2-under over the back nine to finish in a tie for second. It is the fourth top-10 showing of the season for Lomholt and his second runner-up showing, upping his season par-or-better rounds to 13.

Lomholt was joined in the individual top-10 by Anton Albers, who tied for eighth with a 1-over 217. After an opening round 68, Albers posted a 2-over 74 and a three-over 75 over the final two rounds, carding his fifth top-10 individual showing in 10 events in 2021-22, while upping his career top-10 total to 10 tournaments.

Junior Nico Horder also posted a top-20 finish, tying for 20th with a 6-over 222 competing as an individual. Horder was consistent through all four rounds, registering a 2-over 74 in each.

Marcel Rauch tied for 31st with an 8-over 224, carding a 4-over 76 in both rounds two and three, with Archie Smith tying for 46th at 12-over 228, posting a 9-over 81 in round two but rebounding with a 1-over 73 in the final round. Jansen Smith shot a 2-over 74 and a 4-over 76 over the final two rounds.

Facing chilly and windy conditions, scores rose across the boards over the final two rounds as only two teams (Michigan and UAB) registered under-par team scores over the final 18 holes. Nebraska (15-over 879) finished fourth with Mississippi State (16-over 880) rounding out the top-five. Little Rock finished nine shots better than its closest Sun Belt foe as Arkansas State placed eighth a 22-over 886.

Little Rock was tied for the top team among the field in par-three scoring at 11-over, ranking third in par-four (16-over) and sixth in par-five (1-under). Rauch was solid on the par-three holes, tying for first at 1-under for the event, with Albers and Lomholt both finishing at 2-under on the par-fours and Horder the top Trojan on the par-fives at 4-under.

With the showing in Arizona, Little Rock has now finished in the top-five as a team in all six events in 2021-22 and notched a pair of runner-up showings in the span of a week after finishing second at the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate Monday through Wednesday. The Trojans' team scoring average is at 285.06, remaining on pace to remain the lowest scoring average in program history ahead of 2018-19's 286.97.

Little Rock's busy spring will continue in just over a week, traveling south to Lafayette, Louisiana for the Louisiana Classics. Hosted by conference foe Louisiana, the event will be held Monday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 15 at Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette.
