LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Track and Field will open the 2022 outdoor season Monday morning as select student-athletes will head to Searcy for the Harding Spring Break Multis meet.
Â
Matthew Fox,
Ethan Sorrels and
Gabby Ayiteyfio will represent Little Rock's Team over the two-day meet that starts Monday morning.

Three Things to Know
- A First
The Harding Multis meet will be a first for Little Rock's competing student-athletes. While the three Trojans heading to Searcy competed during the indoor season, none of the three have ever competed in an outdoor multis competition, even in high school. This week's meet will be a good first test of the outdoor multis, which are more involved than the indoor multis.
- Record Watch
Ethan Sorrels and Gabby Ayiteyfio rank second in school history in their respective indoor multis events and both expect to make their mark on the school's outdoor record books this week.
- Expanded Competition
So what's the difference? The outdoor multis competition expands the competition from the indoor multis. On the men's side, the 400m, discus and javelin are among the additional events that are included as they go from a heptathlon to a decathlon while the women's side sees the addition of the 200m and the javelin as they go from a pentathlon to a heptathlon.
