On Your Marks
  • Little Rock hosts its annual home meet with the Little Rock Twilight taking place Thursday and Friday at the Coleman Sports Complex.
  • Friday's action will air live on ESPN+ beginning at 4 p.m.
  • While not part of the points battle for the Governor's I-40 Showdown, UCA is one of 16 collegiate teams competing in Little Rock.
  • Also competing this week is the Namibia Olympic Team and American record holder Alan Webb.
  • The Trojans are in their final season as members of the Sun Belt Conference and will move to the more geographically-aligned Ohio Valley Conference next season.

Three Things to Know
  1. Home, Sweet, Home
While this will be one of seven regular season meets in the Natural State for Little Rock's Team, this week's action marks the lone home meet of the 2022 Outdoor Season for the Trojans.
  2. Records Keep Falling - Expect it To Continue
Little Rock has set three school records so far this season but a different set of records are expected to fall this week as the Trojans host the Little Rock Twilight. At last year's home meet, 12 facility records were broken. Fans should expect more of those marks to be rewritten this week.
  3. An International Affair
Not only will 16 collegiate teams be competing this weekend at the Coleman Sports Complex (including Little Rock's Team), but athletes from the Namibian Olympic Team will also be competing, including Christine Mboma, the Silver Medalist from the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
