LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock track and field is splitting three ways this weekend with meets at Arkansas, Ole Miss and Harding over a two-day period starting Friday.
The Trojans will send a handful of athletes to the John McDonnell Invitational in Fayetteville and to the Joe Walker Invitational in Oxford, Mississippi while most of the team will head to Searcy for the Harding Invitational. Arkansas will have a live SECN+ broadcast of Friday's track action while live results will be available from Arkansas and Harding.
Three Things to Know
- Hotty Toddy
This weekend's action marks the second visit to Ole Miss for Little Rock's Team. After competing at the Ole Miss Classic, Little Rock's multis are returning to Oxford for the Joe Walker Invitational.
- Records Keep Falling
Less than a month into the 2022 outdoor season, three school records have come crashing down and Charles Johnson could not be more pleased. The Trojan throwers coach has seen his athletes break school records in the men's shot put (Desmond Frazier), women's discus throw (Aaliyah Mathis) and women's hammer throw (Mia Dunning).
- Can She Move Up the List?
Breya Clark enters the weekend ranked 43rd in the NCAA West Prelims performance list in the triple jump after jumping 40-4.25 (12.30m) at UCA in March. Clark is looking to move up the list and solidify a spot in the NCAA postseason for the first time in her career.
