NORMAN, Okla. – For the second-straight season, the quartet of
Anton Albers,
Nico Horder,
Magnus Lomholt and
Marcel Rauch have been named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for the 2021-22 season, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

All four earned the same distinction in 2020-21 as the four Little Rock honorees ties the program record for most in a season, joining the 2009-10 and 2020-21 campaigns. With the four recognitions this year, Little Rock has earned 25 All-America Scholar honors since the 2008-09 season.

Albers and Rauch also hold a special distinction as the first three-time honorees as the duo were both recognized in 2019-20 and 2020-21. The honor for Albers continues to add to his historic 2021-22 season, one in which he was named a second team CoSIDA Academic All-American.

Horder and Lomholt are both repeat honorees, earning the distinction in 2020-21. They join former Trojans Danial Durisic, Justin Warren, Matias Calderon, Linus Gillgren and Felipe Velasquez as two-time honorees.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically at the Division I level. In addition, they participate in 40 percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.

Albers finished the season as the nation's number 31-ranked golfer by GolfStat, setting a new program record with a 70.97 scoring average. Lomholt ranked second with a 72.33 mark, followed by a 74.03 average from Rauch and a 75.39 season average from Horder as the four all competed on the squad that helped Little Rock clinch the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Championship and a second-straight NCAA Regional appearance.

As a team, Little Rock had an impressive year in the classroom, posting a 3.753 team GPA in the spring semester as five golfers finished with a 3.50 or better, including a pair of 4.00 performances from Albers and
Devon Whitaker.

Little Rock closed out the 2021-22 campaign with a team scoring average of 288.48, the second-best in program history. The Trojans ended the year ranked 43rd nationally for the second-straight season with three team tournament titles and seven top-five tournament showings.
