LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Head Women's Basketball Coach
Joe Foley announced his team's 2022-23 non-conference schedule, solidifying another slate that features one of the best home schedules in the country.
The newly minted Ohio Valley Conference program will host three Southeastern Conference teams at the Jack Stephens Center this year, including a visit by the Razorbacks on Nov. 20. Additionally, every Division I program in Arkansas will face the Trojans this year with three of the four opponents visiting the Capital City.
Little Rock's season opens with a four-game homestand starting with a visit by UA-Pine Bluff on Thursday, Nov. 10 in a marquee doubleheader matchup as both the Little Rock women and men host their home opener that evening.
Following that home opener, the Trojans welcome Ole Miss to University Avenue on Sunday, Nov. 13 for a 1 p.m. tip-off. The following Sunday, the Hogs will venture down from Fayetteville to challenge the Trojans on Nov. 20. Little Rock's four-game homestand wraps up on Wednesday, Nov. 23 as Oral Roberts will visit the Jack for a 1 p.m. tip-off the day prior to Thanksgiving.
The first road test for the Trojans comes on Wednesday, Nov. 30 when Little Rock will face Auburn a year after beating the War Eagle-crying Tigers at the Jack Stephens Center. The Trojans then return to the Natural State for a trip to Conway to face Central Arkansas in the Governor's I-40 Showdown presented by Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Little Rock then returns home to host Texas A&M on Tuesday, Dec. 6 before another pair of road games dots the schedule. The Trojans face an old Sun Belt Conference rival with a trip to Western Kentucky on Sunday, Dec. 11 and then will play at Alabama on Thursday, Dec. 15.
Another old Sun Belt Conference rival is on the schedule on Sunday, Dec. 18 when Arkansas State looks forward to visiting the Jack Stephens Center in a continuation of the fierce in-state rivalry between the two programs. Little Rock wraps up the non-conference schedule on Wednesday, Dec. 21 with a trip to Missouri State.
Season tickets are now on sale for the Trojans' 2022-23 campaign and as Little Rock begins play in the Ohio Valley Conference this season, you've got to OVC it! Little Rock's upcoming season will be bringing new opponents, new regional rivalries and
several new benefits to being a season ticket member all while bringing back more doubleheaders, more thrilling action on the hardwood and more exciting Trojan wins.
Fans that take advantage of season ticket memberships will get the best chance to experience the new videoboards being installed at the Jack Stephens Center, a new court design on the floor and the same great exciting action for which Little Rock Basketball is known.
