LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Director of Track & Field/Cross Country and Head Coach J.P. Behnke announced his program's 2023 outdoor schedule Tuesday with 10 regular season meets leading up to the Ohio Valley Conference Championships.

For the second consecutive year, the Trojans' home event at the Coleman Sports Complex will air live on ESPN+ when the Maroon and Silver hosts the Little Rock Invitational on Apr. 6-7. The running events on Apr. 7 will be available on the ESPN+ platform.

The outdoor schedule kicks off on Mar. 17-18 with a trip up I-40 for the Richard Martin Jr. Invitational hosted by Central Arkansas and then a swing down to Houston for the Victor Lopez Invitational hosted by Rice on Mar. 24-25. Little Rock will then head to St. Louis for back-to-back days in the Gateway City, first for the WashU Distance Carnival on Mar. 31 then for the WashU Invitational on Apr. 1.

Following the Little Rock Invitational, the Trojans will split squads in two of the next three weeks. On Apr 14-15, one group will head to Norman, Oklahoma for the Sooner Invite and Multis while select athletes will compete at the Mt. SAC Relays. Then on Apr. 28-29, a Trojan contingent heads two hours East for the Memphis Invitational while another select group will head to Jacksonville, Florida for the East Coast Relays hosted by North Florida. In between, Little Rock will stay in-state for the John McDonnell Invitational on Apr. 21-22 hosted by the Razorbacks.

That leads up to the OVC Championships on May 11-13 in Edwardsville, Illinois to kick off a postseason campaign for Little Rock's Team. Following its first appearance at the OVC Outdoor Championships, Little Rock is looking to repeat its success at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships, this time taking place on May 24-27 in Sacramento, California. Any advancing athletes would head to Austin, Texas on Jun. 7-10 for the NCAA Champioships.
