The Little Rock Trojans finished 6-under in Tuesday's third and final round and finished third overall in the team standings at the Everett Buick GMC Classic, held at Chenal Country Club. The Trojans finished 12-under for the tournament with a three-round total of 852 (283-287-282). LSU (22-under) took the overall team title with Troy (13-under) finishing second.
FINAL TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Magnus Lomholt fired a 4-under 68 on Tuesday to move eight spots up the leaderboard and finish tied for ninth. Lomholt entered the final round at 1-under but sank six birdies Tuesday to lead the Trojans into a Top 3 finish with a three-day total of 211 (72-71-68).
Rhett South and
Matteo Cristoni each finished tied for 13
th at 3-under 213 for the tournament. Cristoni shot a 2-under 70 on Tuesday to move up four spots with. South shot rounds of 70-71-72 but fell out of the Top 10.
Jansen Smith and
Archie Smith both finished tied for 36
th at 1-over 217. Each shot an even 72 in the final round. Jansen finished at 73-72-72 while Archie scored rounds of 71-74-72.
Phisher Phillips (tied for 59
th),
Josh McNulty (tied for 63
rd) and
Louis Talarczyk (74
th) competed as individuals.
Next week the Trojans will compete at The Clerico on Oct. 23-24, hosted by Oral Roberts. It is the final tournament of the fall season.
