Little Rock Wrestling Returns to Tournament Competition at Tiger Style Invitational

Trojans will face wrestlers from #4 Missouri, Pac-12 foes Cal Poly

LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock wrestling is ready to unleash the Trojans at the Tiger Style Invitational this weekend, the first time this season that several wrestlers on the roster will claim their chance to compete. The tournament is hosted by the Missouri Tiger and will take place at Staley High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

"We are excited for this weekend, especially coming off a great start to our season," said head coach Neil Erisman. "This tournament is a great measuring stick for where we are and where we want to be. There will be a lot of great matchups this weekend that will show us where we need to go."

There will be a short break before 1st- and 3rd- place matches.

The trip to Kansas City is one of two tournaments for Little Rock this month, as the Trojans begin to ramp up the competition season. Following this weekend, Little Rock will host #21 Oklahoma at home on Friday, November 17 at 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear white to white-out the Jack Stephens Center.
