Little Rock Baseball Announces The Signing Of Six Players

Trojans Add Six Players To The Roster

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Head Coach Chris Curry announces the signing of six new members to the Little Rock Baseball team for the 2025 season - including one transfer from SAU Tech.

Jackson Cobb - Catcher; Benton, AR/ SAU Tech
Jackson is an above average defender behind the plate and has shown some real power potential from the right handed side of the batter's box. His makeup is through the roof and we are excited to have him join our catching corps. At SAU Tech he has played for both Tanner Rockwell, an all-time Trojan great, and Nick Piraino, a former Trojan assistant.

Matt Gardner - Infielder; Kennett, MO/ Kennett High School
Matt is a really good defender in the middle of the infield. He has a high baseball IQ to go along with a top of the lineup skillset offensively. He is from a baseball hotbed in southeast Missouri, and we look forward to seeing him in the lineup early as a Trojan.

Jackson Privett - Right Handed Pitcher; Pocahontas, AR/ Pocahontas High School
We are excited to welcome Jackson Privett to the Trojan Family. He's a strike thrower and a competitor who features a low 90s fastball and a sharp slider. These, along with his competitive nature and strike throwing ability will lend to him being a factor for our pitching staff early in 2025.

Conner Vaughn - Outfielder; Osceola, AR/ Rivercrest High School
Conner is a strong left handed hitter from Northeast Arkansas who we think has a bright future as a Trojan. He's a future middle of the order type bat who has some power to go along with the ability to hit to all fields.

Ashton Williams - Right Handed Pitcher; Kennett, MO/ Kennett High School
Ashton is a right handed pitcher who has a ton of upside on the mound. His fastball has already been into the low 90s and we believe that there is more in the tank for him. His loose delivery and feel for offspeed pitches will allow him to get on the mound for us early in his career.

Davis York - Right Handed Pitcher; Marion, AR/ Marion High School
Davis is another pitching product from Northeast Arkansas who we think will have a bright future as a Trojan. He's a physical presence and a competitive strike thrower. Davis' three pitch mix help him profile as a future starter on the mound.
