CONWAY, Ark. – Little Rock jumper
Bria Allen posted a huge mark on the first day of the Richard Martin Jr Invitational in Conway, jumping 19-6.75 (5.96m) to win the event at the Richard Martin Jr. Invitational in Conway Friday.
Allen's mark would be one of the first in a long line of Trojan victors on the day as Little Rock dominated the outdoor-opening meet in Conway.
Clearing 19-6.75 (5.96m), Allen posed the longest long wind-aided long jump in school history Friday as Little Rock opened action at the first outdoor meet of the season.
Landri Schreier won the 200m by running 24.46 while
Maliyah Holland clocked 24.97 to finish second. In the men's 200m, Little Rock claimed the top five spots led by
Troy McKnight's 21.17 time while
Taveion Neal ran 21.59 to finish second.
Gabby Ayiteyfio won the women's high jump after clearing a height of 1.60m (5-3) while
Brenna Harris cleared the same height to finish second.
