BRYAN, Texas – Little Rock is in fifth among the 13-team field after round two of the Aggie Invitational at Traditions Golf Club. The Trojans shot a 1-over 289 in round two and sits at 4-over 580 through 36 holes of play.
Jansen Smith has the lead for the Trojans, ending round two tied for 11
th with a 2-under 142. Smith posted a 3-under 69 in round two, moving him up 18 spots on the individual leaderboard to finish day one.
Magnus Lomholt sits just outside the top-20 as he is tied for 26
th with a 1-over 145.
Anton Albers, tied for 31
st, carded a 1-under 71 in round two and is at 2-over 146 after the first two rounds.
Nico Horder is just one stroke behind Albers with a 3-over 147 tying him for 40
th.
Archie Smith finishes the day tied for 63
rd and is at 9-over 153.
Little Rock finished round one tied for sixth with North Texas but round two saw the Trojans improve and move up to sit solo in fifth place. Little Rock is just two strokes back fourth-place Baylor (2-over 578) and is one stroke ahead of Sam Houston and Houston, who are tied for sixth (5-over 581).
Louisville holds the team lead at 20-under 556, eleven shots better than host Texas A&M (9-under 567) and 13 shots better than third-place TCU (7-under 569).
Little Rock will tee off from hole 1 a 8:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday for the final 18 holes of regular season play. Playing with Sam Houston and Baylor in the final round groupings,
