SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Little Rock finished round three of The Goodwin with a 12-over 292, bringing the total team score for the weekend to a 26-over 866 and tying the Trojans for 20
th place.
Jansen Smith was the Trojans' lone top-20 finisher, shooting a 2-over 72 in the final round, bringing his weekend total to an even 210 (69-69-72).

Smith led the Trojans in all three rounds, at one point breaking into the individual top-10, but finishing the weekend tied for sixteenth. Smith shot 1-under 69 in his first two rounds, bringing his season total to 12 par-or-better rounds this season.
Magnus Lomholt and
Anton Albers were neck and neck all weekend, finishing rounds one and two tied with each other, but Lomholt edged out Albers by one stroke in the final round, shooting a 3-over 73 and finishing the weekend tied for 67
th with a 7-over 217 (72-72-73). Albers came in tied for 78
th with an 8-over 218 (72-72-74).
Archie Smith improved with each round this weekend, carding a 13-over 223 (76-74-73) to finish tied for 124
th.
Nico Horder bounced back from a tough round one to finish tied for 143rd with a 15 over 225 (76-74-73).
Little Rock tied with Lipscomb and Washington State for 20
th place, just one stroke back from 19
th place Utah (6-over 865) and two strokes better than 23
rd place Northern Illinois, who shot a 28-over 868.
Oklahoma claimed the top spot, finishing with an 18-under 822 (275-273-274), while Georgia Tech placed second (12-under 828) and hosts Stanford finished third (1-under 839). The top three teams were the only teams to finish under par.
Storms in the days leading up to the tournament caused damage to the course, leading to changes on holes five and nine and adjusting the layout to a 6,939 yard, par-70 course. The Goodwin posed one of the Trojans' most challenging team fields yet, pinning them against other ranked teams such as #7 Stanford, #11 Georgia Tech, #13 Oklahoma, #20 Oregon, #30 Washington, and #42 BYU. The Trojans went into the weekend ranked #36 according to GolfStat.com.
The Trojans have one more regular season event, the Aggie Invitational, to be held April 10-11 at the Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas before post season play begins with the Ohio Valley Conference Championship April 23-26 in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
