INDIANAPOLIS – Little Rock netted four marks that received a postseason bid with three individuals and the men's 4x100m relay qualifying for the NCAA West Preliminary Championships next week.

The relay squad, as well as
Johnathan Jones in the high jump,
Ryan Curington in the long jump and
TaVieon Neal in the 100m, will head to Sacramento, California as they look to advance to the NCAA Championships.

This marks the third consecutive season that Jones and Curington will make an appearance at the West Prelims. Only Kirby Atkins (Discus, 2007-10) has qualified more times in the same event. Jones finished tied for 36
th in the high jump in 2021 then tied for 23
rd last year. Curington posted a 32
nd-place finish in the long jump in 2021 then placed 45
th last season.

Thursday's announcement also marks the second consecutive year Neal and the men's 4x100m relay have qualified. Neal scratched last season's 100m dash race in the prelims due to injury and the relay team ran 40.36 to finish 20
th.

Action at the NCAA West Prelims begins on Wednesday, May 24 and the men's competition will wrap up the evening of Friday, May 25.
