Little Rock enters its second season of play in the Ohio Valley Conference on Friday when the Trojans travel to Evansville, Ind. for a back-to-back against the Screaming Eagles, hoping to improve on their inaugural OVC campaign from a year ago.
Â
Last season, the Trojans went 4-14 in a competitive conference, finishing ninth out of 10 teams and missing the conference tournament. This time, the league has expanded to 11 teams with the addition of Western Illinois, which means one more team will be looking to squeeze into the field of eight for the OVC Tournament in late-November.
Â
The road to the postseason begins this weekend with Little Rock (3-8 overall, 0-0 OVC) and Southern Indiana (4-8, 0-1) meeting Friday at 6 pm and again Saturday at 2 pm inside Screaming Eagles Arena.
